BRASS Management Application Development Kit

The BRASS™ Management Application Development Kit provides a rich set of tools for creating a complete, functional SNMP manager. This toolkit is available for the development of C-language applications or Java™-language applications.

It includes the following elements:

• The SNMP Libraries, Utilities, and MIB Tools in binary.
• The BRASS libraries in binary.
• The SNMP Utilities are delivered in source code form as examples of how to use the BRASS API for creating management applications.
• Extensive BRASS API Documentation.
• The BRASS server in binary, to which management applications connect and communicate.

This combination allows developers to quickly develop management applications without the need for full source code.
